We needed custom icons that matched Frontrunner’s branding. The challenge here was that part of the brand guidelines included that we didn’t use sharp corners. This meant every icon that was an organic shape had to be communicated without using curves.
I created a library of icons using thin red outlines, and created curves by using polygons or segments of polygons instead of circles.
These icons create a sense of cohesion throughout the app, Frontrunner's pitch deck, and all the brand materials. They subtly reinforce the Frontrunner brand, and create a level of polish that brings the product to the next level.
